New Hickory Hills HOA Home Owner
Welcome...
The Hickory Hills Home Owners Association Board would like to welcome you as its newest member.  As a member you are entitled to all the rights and privileges addressed in the by-laws, covenants and articles of incorporation (obtainable by download from the website for free, link at left or click HOA DOCS).
As a member of the HOA each homeowner is responsible for paying annual HOA dues; these dues ensure that the responsibilities left to us are carried out.  Dues are currently $50 a year January Thru December.  We begin collecting dues in October of the pervious year thru mid-December of the previous year.  For example 2010 dues will be collected in October 2009 thru mid-December 2009.  It is important to pay your dues within the time frame to avoid having a lien placed on your property.  If you have any questions please contact us
Once a year in August the HOA has it's annual members meeting.  At the meeting we will vote on new directors, review the financials and open the floor to discussion.  We encourage you to come to the meetings.  The Board also encourages you to take an active roll as a director or officer position.
Near the south end of our development is a retention pond (pond).  This pond is accessible from Mulberry st as well as Birch st.  The pond is stocked with fish, feel free to shore fish.  We DO NOT permit swimming or boating.  You are free to picnic lunch on the 3 acre lot as well.  The HOA permits ATV vehicles on the pond property but only for fishing purposes, the pond area is not an ATV track.  there is a $150 fine for abusing this privilege.  We also would like to preserve the wild life around the pond and excessive ATV activity prevents this from occurring
Near the north end of Mulberry st and Lauren ln there is a mitigation are that is NOT maintained by the HOA.  It's a natural preserve and a wildlife firm manages this area.
At the north end of Lauren LN and Alexandria LN the City of Pleasant Hill has purchased property for a City Park. Click HERE for more information
The area of Buckeye In, west of Mulberry (excluding Lot 79 and 105) are not part of the HOA.  This area is referred to as Phase 5.  The original developers of Hickory Hills sold Phase 5 to another developer who ended up loosing his properties to the bank and at this time the bank (majority voting rights) had the option to opt out of the HOA for now.  There is always the possibility that they will become part of the HOA in the future.  Click Here for a Lot Map
Click Arch Board or the Link in the upper left to read a little about the Hickory Hills HOA Architectural Review Board.  The ARB is here to help you with new construction and other items spelled out in the covenants.  Please make yourself aware of the Items the ARB will need to approve.  Any questions you can click the email link on the Arch Board page and drop a line to the members.
